Glennis McMurray

Glennis is half of the award-winning comedy duo " I Eat Pandas" who, in 2007, took home the ECNY award for best improv group. ( www.ieatpandas.com ) She has performed on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and shot the pilot for the new "Electric Company ". She makes a living using her voice and, most recently, can be heard as the "Crazy Good" girl in many Pop Tarts ads. Glennis stars as Gem in the 2008 Fringe Festival production of "Gem & The Holographs" based on the popular 80s cartoon, Jem & The Holograms. Comedy Central Insider Blog said of her performance in the show at UCB in 2007, "Glennis McMurray as Jem/Jerrica Benton and Eliza Skinner as Pizzaz carried the show with their sweet singing voices and sharp comedic timing." Glennis once sat at a table read with the entire cast of "30 Rock" and it was only after that she realized she smelled like cheese. She still has a hard time dealing with that and is basing her one-woman show on said experience. It's called "Can Alec Baldwin Smell Me?" Look for it in the Summer of 2012. www.glennismcmurray.com
