Monika Smith was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She started modeling internationally at a young age under Ford and Elite until she realized she likes food and smiling too much. She still likes fashion, too.
Monika has performed at UCB LA & UCBNY, The Second City Toronto Touring Company, and at Second City L.A., Chicago Improv Festival, iO Chicago, iO West, Del Close Marathon, and more. Monika can be seen on HBO's Newsroom, Two And a Half Men, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Disaster Date, Players, in sketches on The Tonight Show and Conan. And some commercials that no one needs to see, really... Seriously, no one.
Monika has performed in a bunch of shows at UCB including The Improv All Stars, Harold Night, Maude Night, hosting Other People's Stuff, Sketch Cram, Gelmania, Dirtiest Sketch, Prom Night, Comedy For Lovers, Quick 'N Dirty Musical: Doggy Style and more. Monika is currently a happy member of Coming Clean and Rough Cut: The Improvised Movie.
