Whit Hertford

Whit Hertford and UCB met on a beautiful autumn evening in 2006. Since then he has appeared in several UCBTLA shows including:

7th Grade: The Awkward Musical, The LOST Island Survival Talent Show, Simmons Dupont is Going Out with Jennifer Aniston, Exploring the Space, The Shit Show, The Attack, The Full House Reunion, Spooky Scary Sketches Spectacular, Sketch Cram, Cagematch, Not Too Shabby, WCUCBWE Summer Krash Bash '08 and co-hosted the variety show, That's Incredible! He also wrote and starred in the opus about Miss Cerritos Gymnastics 1983, i can do pretty ok all by myself: The Bobbi Lynne Cooper Story.

A veteran character actor and writer, in 2010 he and director / producer Ryan Darst created Sneak Attack films and wrote / starred in their debut, Long Story Short, co-starring Nora Kirkpatrick (Greek and member of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) and Matt Jones (Breaking Bad). Hertford also co-wrote (along with Robert J. Gibbs) Sneak Attackʼs other short films, Elliott, Hurts

Like Hell (starring Jon Heder) and the feature, dreamworld. He and Nora Kirkpatrick also created and are currently working on the Funny or Die original comedy, Happy Place, about hosts (and best friends) of a local children's show in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and their struggle to practice what they preach.

Recent TV credits include appearing as the tyrannical choreographer Dakota Stanley on Glee as well as a recurring ensemble member of TBSʼ Conan & The Tonight Show w/ Conan O'Brien as well as stints on How I Met Your Mother, and voice work for Cartoon Network's Star Wars: Clone Wars & Chowder.

He also co-wrote the Funny or Die exclusive, Jackie Chiles: For the People featuring the beloved Seinfeld character. His online sketch group, The Attack, have had their videos featured on both The Huffington Post and CNN.com. Whit has been a member of the improv teams The Universe, Cool Runnings, Supermodels and Rochambeaux.

Mr. Hertford is left-handed, has one kidney and is a lover of guacamole, BBC's The Office, the Los Angeles Clippers and the instrument known as the drums.
