Gilli Nissim

A Los Angeles native, Gilli started out performing in kids musical theater productions. Her improv career began with short-form improv during her 4 years at UC Santa Barbara. After earning a degree in Political Science with a minor in English, Gilli returned to LA and reemerged with many of her college improv alumni as part of the troupe Sticky Nights.

She has studied under UCB greats such as Ian Roberts, Alex Fernie, Eugene Cordero, Todd Fasen, Mike Leffingwell, Will McLaughlin, and Julie Brister. She has also studied at The Westside Comedy Theater and The Groundlings. Gilli was a member of the WCT House team Mad Hugs, and is incredibly stoked to be part of the UCB Harold team Winslow.

Other UCB credits include Tournament of Nerds, Cagematch, The UCB Variety Hour, A Night Of Bi-Partisan Comedy, Gotcha!, Snow Day, A Clamorous Salute to St. Patty's, Teddy's Funk Pad, The UCB Thanksgiving Parade, Celebrity Barf Machine, her solo sketch show Burning and Yearning with Gilli Nissim, and her favorite, Dads and Grads, a show where several UCB improvisors got to perform with their dads and everyone smiled a ton.

Small screen credits include Childrens' HospitalNTSF:SD:SUVYou're Whole and a slew of web commercials that she isn't sure how to find. She has also had the pleasure of lending her voice to the animated shows Friendship All stars of Friendship for L Studios and Pillow Fight for Adult Swim.

Gilli also performs stand up comedy all over LA including the Comedy Store, The Ice House, The Westside Comedy Theater, Flappers, has hosted the UCB open mic, and would love to do your show as well thank you for asking!
