Dan Gregor

Dan Gregor is currently a writer on CBS's "How I Met Your Mother." With his production trio, Chubby Skinny Kids (Dan Gregor, Doug Mand & Adam Pally) has written and developed pilots for ABC/Touchstone ("We Are Internet Millionaires"), CW/Paramount ("Sell Outs"), FX ("Into The Mild"), and based off their long running UCB stage sketch show "Banging My Dick Against A Wall" a pilot script for IFC. They've written a feature film for Universal Pictures & Imagine Entertainment and Endemol Productions, and he was a writer and producer on the E! "TV Wasteland" sketch project. As a founding member of the award winning sketch troupe, The Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz, founded at New York University and housed at the UCB theater, he's performed sketch since 2002. With Hammerkatz, Dan has produced, written and performed in countless sketch shows in festivals and theaters all over the country, having won numerous accolades, including being named BEST SKETCH TROUPE in NYC (2005) by the prestigious ECNY Awards. He's performed improv on house harold teams at both the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Magnet Theater, studied with Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Armando Diaz, Ali Farahnakian, Michael Delaney & many others, and teaches and directs sketch comedy at the UCB.
