Los Angeles, CA, January 1943, Hey Hollywoodland! Live from the City Angels, it’s America’s Favorite Singing and Dancing Sweethearts, the Apple Sisters! It’s a big year for Hollywood – why, there’s a new talkie box in town called the TELEVISION – and it’s all the rage. The gals are glitzing their glam and tailing their shake to take their show from the radio waves to the television waves.
Enjoy their toe tapping tune “California or Bust,†get schooled about showbiz with “The Man Song,†and see the gals think quick on their feet in “Ring, Ring, Ring.†Prepare for the bright lights and big witty, as the Apples take on Hollywood with their own brand of goofy antics, messy slapstick, and tight harmony. We’ll see you on the casting couch!
