Scot Armstrong

As a screenwriter, Armstrong is credited on ROAD TRIP, OLD SCHOOL, STARSKY & HUTCH, SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS, HEARTBREAK KID and SEMI PRO.
He also did uncredited work on ELF and BAD SANTA. Armstrong and business partner Ravi Nandan run American Work Inc. and are producing movies with New Line, Warners, Fox, Paramount and are currently shooting two new television comedies for NBC and Fox. They're producing the Independent dramatic comedy HESHER with Natalie Portman and John C Reilly shooting March 2009. Originally from Chicago, Armstrong studied improvisational comedy under Del Close at the Improv Olympic, trained at the Second City and has been with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since its inception. At UCB NYC he performed in FEATURE FEATURE, ASSCATT and MOTHER. For the stage, he directed NAKED BABIES and SECRET SLUT and produced the short film DON DOLMES:
THE SMALLEST COCK IN PORN for the Funny Or Die short film festival 2009. Currently in LA, he can be seen every Friday night at 10pm in THE SOUNDTRACK. As an actor, Armstrong has tried to perform in his films but keeps getting edited out. But he has appeared on the Conan O’Brian show as Dr. Mini-Frankenstein, the two headed priest and also as part of the North Dakota/South Dakota air guitar jam squad.
Armstrong’s upcoming projects include MULTIPLE MARY, WILL, HOMESCHOOLED and THE DEPENDENT. Scot lives with his wife Kerry, their daughter Lake and their dogs Dewie and Louise in Los Feliz.
