Jim Woods grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where he first started improvising at Comedy Sportz. After years of short form improv and not going to college he moved to Chicago to study long form at Improv Olympic. After performing for 3.5 years in Chicago, Jim was hired for the internationally acclaimed comedy theater Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. Yeah, Amsterdam. After 3 years of performing improv and sketch in Amsterdam he moved to Los Angeles where he performs with the UCB house team Last Day of School.
