Suzi Barrett

Suzi was born and raised in the Detroit Rock Suburbs. She earned a theatre degree from Western Michigan University, then headed west to Chicago, where she studied improv at the famed ImprovOlympic and Second City Theatres, and waited tables at the in-famed Rainforest Cafe. After paying some dues, she was hired by Boom Chicago and spent three years in Amsterdam doing short-form improv for very tall people. Now she's in L.A., where she launched her writing career with a job at Infomania on Current TV. More currently than that, she can be seen in sketches on www.turkeyneck.net, in 1-800-Dentist commercials on TV, and in occasional solo shows at UCB-- the most recent of which was Woman in Comydy . Suzi's always said that men aren't funny; she's proud to say that Sentimental Lady proves her wrong.
