Hal owns his own bowling ball and shoes. He currently does improv as part of the UCB Harold Team, MacGuffin. At the UCB, he has enjoyed being a part of many shows including Comedy Death Ray, Sketch Cram, and Bob Guccione's Valentines Day Spoogetacular among others.

He is also an Alumnus of the Groundlings Sunday Company. In his Freshman Year of high school, Hal received a varsity letter in Bowling. He has appeared on TV shows as varied as ER, Reno 911!, and the 2007 Oscars Telecast, not to mention numerous commercials. Hal's high score in bowling is 198, he looks forward to one day breaking the 200 mark.
