Ben Schwartz is an Emmy award winning writer/actor from NY who currently resides in LA. He plays CIA field agent Bill Hoyt in JJ Abrams new show "Undercovers" (Wednesdays, 8PM on NBC) as well as Jean-Ralphio, the resident douche-bag on the hilarious "Parks and Recreation." He just wrapped the role of Nathan in the feature "Peep World" alongside Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson and Michael C Hall.

He is writing a feature for Imagine and Universal, was a staff writer for the third season of Adult Swims Robot Chicken, and co-wrote Hugh Jackmans recession musical opening for the 81st Annual Academy Awards. He has two books out with Harper Collins- Grandmas Dead: Breaking Bad News with Baby Animals and Why is Daddy in a Dress: Asking Awkward Questions with Baby Animals.

He started as a freelance writer, faxing in jokes to Saturday Night Lives Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Lettermans monologue. He has a website devoted to the jokes that didnt make it to air as well as other short films he wrote, directed and acted in - RejectedJokes.com. One of his shorts, Bronx World Travelers: Press Conference was nominated for two Webby Awards in the best writing and best short film of the year categories.

Hes performed at the UCBT since 2003 and has been a part of countless improv and sketch shows including five different Harold teams and the sketch/improv team Hot Sauce with Adam Pally and Gil Ozeri which performed at the 2007 Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in a showcase directed by Bob Odenkirk. He currently performs every Sunday at 11pm with the improv team Shitty Jobs at UCBLA.
