Erin McGathy
Erin is a proud member UCB Harold Team, Hey, Uncle Gary! as well as a writer on a UCB Maude team.
Erin was born in Yokuska, Japan on a military base and spent her childhood relocating until landing in San Diego. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2006, Erin taught Improv and Acting fulltime at San Diego Schools, Jewish Children's Theatre and Christian Youth Theatre. She wrote and co-wrote the book and lyrics for two children's musicals, Camp Sticky Pine and Jewtastic! both produced at summer camps on the East Coast. She studied Improv at the IO West and UCB. She recently performed Improv at the Del Close Marathon, Los Angeles Comedy Festival and The Pheonix Improv Festival.
Erin once worked as a singing Elevator Operator at a fancy hotel where her performance was called, "Creepy!!" by several elevator riders.
