SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
A student may be subject to suspension or termination if they demonstrate any inappropriate conduct as described in this catalog. Students may also be removed from class if the Training Center staff is notified of any threatening or inappropriate interaction with other students or instructors outside of class or off campus. Any such alleged incident of inappropriate behavior happening on or off campus that is reported by an instructor or another student will be reviewed the Training Center Manager and Academic Supervisor. Suspension or termination in these instances will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Based on the specific circumstances of an incident, a student will either be placed on suspension or terminated from his or her program of study.
If a student is placed on suspension, they will have an opportunity to appeal their suspension in writing. If they fail to do so or if their appeal is denied, they will be placed on academic suspension and will be unable to attend class for one full calendar year from the time of the incident.
In the event of any dangerous, criminal, or violent behavior, the student will simply be terminated from the school. Termination is final and the student will not be permitted to take any further classes at the UCB Training Center.
